Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
Robot vacuum cleaners and mops are a great method to quickly clean up messes. The top robot vacuums and mop I tested had great navigation and mapping. They sucked up Cheerios and fake dog turds, well as wires that were tangled.
You can also schedule cleaning chores using an app and track their progress.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum. It has the latest features. This model of the highest quality is swift and agile, picking up debris like human hair and pet hair with a near perfect accuracy in our Debris Pickup Test. It features a sleek and elegant app interface that includes a mini-map of your home, as well as buttons on the screen to allow manual control.
The S8's Dirt-Detection Technology allows it to change the cleaning mode in accordance with the amount of dirt. It will stop and clean its mopping pad more often when it comes across dust, while prioritizing carpeted areas to be mopped with a damp pad.
The mop roller comes with many other smart features, such as a dock that can be connected to your home's plumbing system to clean and wash it without having to refill the mop. You can even use voice commands to control the S8's built-in voice assistant that can be activated by saying "Hey Rocky" to specify rooms cleaning, modes and granular controls using just your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking to buy a hands-free robot vacuum that can mop, the Yeedi Cube is one of the more flexible alternatives. It's one of many combination robot vacuums that have mopping capabilities that are available at a lower cost than the competition.
Like many robovacs Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work to get started, including setting up an account with the manufacturer's app and connecting it to your WiFi network. After that, the robot will start vacuuming and mops easily.
It is important to remember that the mapping process may take some time, and the Yeedi Cube may need a couple of attempts before it can get an accurate picture of your room. The object detection is an issue that is hit-and-miss. It was able to skirt around furniture and other obstacles, but got stuck on a rug with tassels that it needed to turn to release itself. However, click to read and the Yeedi Cube is still a great option for those who need an all-in-one solution for cleaning.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete provides a three-in-one cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping uses an alternating motion that's similar to hand scrubs. This means that floors are cleaned, not just being swept. The vacuum stick that can be detached is an innovative tool that can reach areas where robot vacuums cannot.
This model is basically the same as the popular X2 Omni, but with a slightly higher suction power of 8700Pa and some additional intelligent features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can be used to learn your home and offer the ability to avoid obstacles in a dynamic manner. The smart app allows you to modify a range of settings, including AI cleaning and virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping and has both the robot vacuum and mop returning to their charging base after each job to wash their pads and empty their dust bins and place debris into the self-sealing bags. This helps to keep the system tidy and stops allergens from circulating. Its battery life is long enough to cover large areas without requiring a recharge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the top-quality robot vacuums and mop models that are available, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for its price. It features an impressive 8,000 Pa suction, a rotary floor brush for carpets, and a fantastic obstacle-avoiding. It also features an unique mopping method that uses a roller constantly misting with water to capture dirt and then deposit it in the water tank.
Its navigation technology performed well, navigating close to walls without crashing, and avoiding steps. However, it did struggle with fine-grained debris and didn't always clear raised room thresholds. Its operating sound level is also very high, which means this model may not be as easy to set and forget as others.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, has a docking systems that allow it to refill its clean water, empty the dust bin and wash and dry the mop, and empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance simple and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in accordance with the regular schedule. Eufy's application lets you control all its functions. It gives you clear information and plenty of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is among the top mowers and vacuums available that are available. It offers impressive results in mopping and vacuuming. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with a decent precision, and the application lets users fine-tune the map coverage, create no-go zones, and modify cleaning preferences. The Freo's main roller brush is also engineered to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which could be an issue for many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM, while applying upward pressure of up to 12N. The mopping system incorporates smart carpet detectors, which lift these pads up when they are close to soft surfaces in order to keep them from getting contaminated.
The docking station is an automated maintenance center that automatically washes and dry the mops, then refills them with detergent and distilled water. The base station also comes with integrated dust processing that compacts dust for 7 weeks of hassle-free operation unlike conventional robot vacuums which empty their bins of dust every time they need to be empty.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars more than the S8, this robot is a slick job of keeping my office clean and can also take on the corners of my tight apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to make an image of your home and knows where to stay away from. And, unlike many vacuums that can mop it also has detection of objects and obstructions that avoids things like bowls for dogs and dog toys (but not poop).
Other amazing features include a self-emptying dustbin and a mop that is self-washing, adjustable for water temperature and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas that other mops cannot reach. You can also adjust the settings for each room, and set up cleaning schedules.
Similar to the S8, it has multi-room smart mapping, and can distinguish between carpets, laminate and hardwood with high-pile rugs. It also lets you skip mopping rooms that are not filthy if you're trying to save time. If you have a variety of flooring in your home and don't want to spend additional money for a Roborock with advanced mapping capabilities this is a great choice.
7. Q5 Pro

If you're looking to find a multi-functional robot vacuum and mop that can handle both regular daily maintenance as well as touch-ups to wet messes, this robot is a great choice. It has a range of features, including a self emptying dustbin and a separate dock for refilling water, and adjustable settings that can be adjusted via the app. It's surprisingly quiet and easily moves around furniture legs or socks. It's not able to pick up knots in the rug and its battery drains faster than other models we've test.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerhouse that provides powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek design. It didn't do as well in our mopping and mopping tests as the more expensive Roborock S8MaxV Ultra however it performed very well overall. It also comes with a range of cleaning modes to meet your needs, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for debris that is light to the more powerful 'Turbo' option for rooms with carpet. It can even remove and reconnect the mop pads without causing your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum that can be used in small areas. It's very quiet and fast, and it is a great choice for getting around tight spots. It's also extremely effective at removing pet hair from carpeting.
It's smaller than many of its competitors however it doesn't sacrifice features. It has a good amount of suction power and it can be configured to take a picture of every object it comes across (i.e. chew toys, socks) and mark them as 'not found in the app, so that they aren't picked up during future cleanings. Its photos are encrypted, and aren't tied to your account.
It does a great job of vaccuming, but it isn't as good at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped to the bot's bottom and drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal that have water reservoirs and will automatically wash and attach their mophead.
